Undergraduate Sport Open Days and Applicant Days
If you are interested in studying Sport at Cardiff Metropolitan University (UWIC) or have already applied for one of our undergraduate sport courses, the information listed below should act as a guide with regards to which open days would be most appropriate for you to attend.

Q1. I am considering applying to Cardiff Metropolitan University (UWIC) for Sport, what is the best Open Day to attend?

Every year we run a series of Pre-Applicant Sport Open Days in October. These are designed for people who are unsure whether to make an application to Cardiff Met and would like the opportunity to look around facilities and talk to course tutors more about the range of sport courses available.

Q2. How do I book onto these events?
Booking for these events are essential. You can book on via our website through the VIP pages by clicking here. Please note, spaces are limited on these open days and due to the popularity of our School of Sport places often fill quickly.

Q3.
Are these the only Sport Open Days?
Yes these are the only sport open days however we also run a series of Sport Applicant Days from November until April. These days are designed for people who have already applied to the university.

Q4.
How do I book onto one of these events?
You cannot book onto one of these events, you have to be specifically invited. In order to receive an invitation you will need to have applied and meet, or be predicted to meet, the entry requirements of the course. Please refer to the individual
course descriptions for entry requirements.

A high level of dedication to sport, for example county standard or equivalent in one or more sports, is also a requirement to be accepted into the School of Sport. This should be detailed in your personal Statement on your UCAS form if you intend to apply.
