SA Brain Scholarship
SA Brain supports an annual scholarship of £1,250 which for this year is for a Masters student studying for a MSc in either Hospitality, Tourism or Events management.This gives the student the chance to gain an insight into one of the most successful businesses in Wales and is hoped that it will provide a stepping stone for the student to engage with Brains as a company & explore future opportunities with them.

Sodexo Scholarship
Sodexo Defence, a leading supplier of support services, including food services supports an annual scholarship of £1,500 for a student in their final year of studies in BA (Hons) International Hospitality Management or BA (Hons) International Hospitality & Tourism Management. A call of applications will be made at the beginning of the academic year.
The Scholarship will be awarded in October of each year and will be paid on a term-by-term basis and subject to continued satisfactory performance judged by Cardiff School of Management teaching staff.

Savoy Educational Trust
Research Project Area:
Poviding empirical knowledge about small and medium sized businesses within the UK hospitality industry.
The PhD will be supervised by Dr Caroline Ritchie from the Welsh Centre for Tourism in Cardiff School of Management at Cardiff Metropolitan University, but will be funded by the Savoy Educational Trust. Applicants must have a good first degree in the area of Tourism, Hospitality or Events. Ideally, applicants will also have a relevant Masters degree, some applied experience and good written and verbal communication skills.
Details of the scholarship:
This three year PhD will commence in September 2013. The PhD bursary consists of the standard tuition fee for a “home”/ EU student (to be £3,760 in 2013/14) only. There is no stipend.
