On the Day
All students should arrive at the ceremony venue in advance of their allocated time due to a short rehearsal before each ceremony.
Students are asked to collect their robes from the robing venue in advance of their arrival at the ceremony hall. Students must then take their places in the auditorium, sitting in the seat allocated to them on their ticket, by the times given above. Guests are welcome to wait outside the auditorium before they take their seats at the allotted time above.
Students cross the stage in the same order as they are listed in the programme and during the ceremony students will rise from their seats by course when instructed to do so by the Marshals. The Marshals will direct the route on and off stage, therefore it is important to follow their instructions at all times. For those students who are not seated in alphabetical order within their course (usually those who have been accepted late), clear instructions will be given on how to merge into the correct order of presentation. The Marshals will help and advise on any queries students may have while in the auditorium.
Students and their guests are asked not to take photographs or video within the auditorium, commemorative videos will be available for purchase. Also commemorative programmes will be available free of charge and will be distributed outside the main auditorium entrances.
