EASB East Asia Institute of Management
Cardiff Metropolitan University is strengthening its links with South East Asia having recently hosted senior staff from the EASB East Asia Institute of Management in Singapore. Discussions are at an advanced stage regarding the possibility of opening a Cardiff Metropolitan University-branded campus in conjunction with EASB in Singapore.
“This is an exciting time for Cardiff Metropolitan University’s burgeoning relationship with EASB, as demand for programmes delivered with international partners is expected to rise in the coming years,” said Lloyd Powell, Collaborative Provision Manager, Cardiff Metropolitan University.
“We look forward to furthering our discussions on the development of exciting new degree programmes, which will add to Cardiff Metropolitan University’s growing portfolio of international partnerships and the possible campus development,” he added.
Around 100 EASB students in Singapore are currently studying for Cardiff Metropolitan University franchised degrees in subjects including Accountancy, International Hospitality Management and the MBA. New programmes, including undergraduate programmes in Banking and Finance and Business Information Systems, will be introduced in the near future.
With a relationship dating back to 2005, Cardiff Metropolitan University ensures all programmes offered at EASB are subject to its strict quality control processes, which includes Cardiff Metropolitan University staff and UK External Examiners making regular visits to Singapore to scrutinise student work.
