University Visit Days
Cardiff School Of Management Visit days provide potential students with the opportunity to experience at first-hand how it feels to be an undergraduate at university.  Covering all the main components to university life, these visit days can range from subject specific-events that set working briefs for the visiting students to general Higher Education (HE) awareness-raising events.

Subject-specific Days

(e.g. Design Days, Food Technology Taster Days, Sport Days etc.)

Subject-specific days are an excellent way for students to get an insight into courses at Cardiff Metropolitan University that they may not have originally considered.  Organised jointly by our team and course lecturers, these taster days are designed to be highly interactive, with students usually carrying out experiments/research and other interesting course-related activities.  Course lectures are also fully involved in the day and often deliver presentations about their subject and the potential career opportunities within that industry.  On hand to help and support your students throughout the day are our current undergraduates who can also give their own account of the course, the university and the lecturers themselves!

Higher Education Awareness Day

Allow your sixth form students to experience a day of university life at Cardiff Metropolitan University. Their awareness of HE will be raised by taking part in fun-filled activities as well as receiving a number of interactive presentations and workshops. The day ends with students giving their own presentation and receiving prizes.
