The Sconul Access scheme allows staff and students to join and borrow from other Higher Ed libraries in the UK and Ireland.

You’ll be assigned a band (A, B and C) and borrowing rights for each band vary by institution.

Want to join Cardiff Met?

Bring a print-out of your Sconul confirmation email or Sconul card and your home institution id card to any of our learning centres.

We accept bands A, B and C and, in each case, you will be able to borrow up to 5 items.

Cardiff Met Staff/Student?

The scheme is available to staff and students but borrowing rights will vary by institution.  Full-time undergraduates can join but will not be given borrowing rights.
