Hospital at The Wales Centre for Podiatric Studies

We are the only centre for the education of Podiatrists in Wales and as such we are supported by the Wales Assembly Government. The students who successfully complete our Course are eligible to become registered with the Health Professions Council.

We offer a wide range of high quality podiatry services as part of the clinical training for our students. The treatment is supervised by well qualified and experienced staff who are employed by the University.

We undertake to maintain your dignity. We will respect your privacy and treat your records in line with our confidentiality policy. We will ask you to sign a consent form when you begin your treatment and will engage you in the process of your management. When you first visit a full history will be taken and then we will decide together how to plan your future treatment. Sometimes we will ask you if you are willing to act as a patient for the students in their clinical exams, or be a case study for a student assessment. If you do not wish to participate in this it is will not affect your treatment.

Please let us know how you wish us to address you. If you have any questions about this process please feel free to ask us.
