The Critical Tourism Studies Conference Series focuses on ethical, equitable and sustainable tourism. This is the fourth in the series and the first to be held in Wales, the world’s first fair trade nation.

The conference will bring together academics, activists, practitioners and policy-makers to discuss tourism futures. Keynote speakers are John Hilary, Executive Director of War on Want and Professor Pauline Sheldon, UNWTO Ulysses Prize Winner and President of the International Academy for the Study of Tourism.

The conference publication plan includes themed issues of three international journals and the best paper presented by a doctoral student will be awarded the Annals of Tourism Research Prize.
