Who we are
LaunchPad is the home of entrepreneurship education at Cardiff Met. Run by a mixed team of staff and students, our aim is to equip all students with the skills and knowledge needed to ensure that they are ready to take their next steps in life after graduating, whether those steps are towards a graduate job, further study or starting a business.
The Team
Entrepreneurship Manager - Natasha Kemp
Natasha Kemp is Cardiff Met’s Entrepreneurship Manager and has been working on developing enterprise education both inside and outside the curriculum since 2006. Natasha works with staff, students and graduates to support and develop entrepreneurship opportunities across all five of Cardiff Met's academic schools.
Natasha’s role includes managing the university's entrepreneurship society ‘LaunchPad’, developing innovative entrepreneurial programmes and managing the South East Wales Regional Higher Education Hub which includes the partners, Cardiff University, University of Glamorgan, University of Wales, Newport and the Open University.
Natasha developed a passion for enterprise education whilst studying for a BA (hons) in Retail management from the University of Wales Institute Cardiff (UWIC), when in her spare time she set up the university's first enterprise and employability society. After graduating from UWIC Natasha secured the role of Entrepreneurship Coordinator at UWIC and secured a place on the International Entrepreneurship Educators Programme (IEEP) which is a programme run jointly with the National Council for Entrepreneurship in Education (NCEE) and Enterprise Educators UK. Natasha is the youngest educator to be awarded a fellowship of NCEE. In 2012 Natasha completed a PGCE PCET and is currently looking for research opportunities to develop her field of expertise further.
