Cardiff Metropolitan University Merger News:
On the 6th November 2012 the Welsh Education Minister announced that he had taken the decision to cancel his consultation on the proposed dissolution of our university.This is obviously excellent news after a long period of uncertainty and we are extremely grateful to those of you who have rallied behind us – thank you so much for your support.
The way is now clear for us to focus on the future, delivering the Welsh Government’s agenda for Higher Education in a reinvigorated spirit of collaboration as well as continuing our work in national and International areas in which we excel.The cornerstone of our future development is our 2012-17 Corporate Strategic Plan which will be available for you to view in the New Year.

An opportunity for CSAD Alumni to meet up and network over a glass of wine with members of staff and other friends.

Class of 1973, 40th reunion on Cyncoed Campus, 20 July 2013
The 40th reunion for the class of 1973 will take place on the 20 July 2013, we have been contacting many in that year but if you are in touch with other class mates who might not know about the event, please pass the word on!
Class of 1972, annual reunion, Village hotel Cardiff, 27 July 2013
Aled Roberts and Meredydd James have been working hard on organising another reunion for the class of 1972 after the success of last years get together. Please spread the word.
Llandaff Engineers, 1994-1997 (Date & Venue TBD)
Initial plans are being made to reunite Electrical/Mechanical/Environmental Engineers who graduated in 1997. If you studied with Gerard Butler and his pals, then please let us know and we'd be delighted to help reunite the year!
