Allocations
Priority for campus accommodation is given to first year undergraduate students.
Please note that all offers will be made via email. You must ensure that we have your up to date email address to enable us to process your application.
Allocations are made in two phases:
The first phase of allocations commences during June and the beginning of July - this is for students who apply early and hold unconditional offers. Unconditional students who apply after the end of April will be placed in the second phase of allocations.
The second phase of allocations commences after A level results near the end of August and continues through to the start of term. We can only make offers to students who have received an unconditional offer of a academic place at Cardiff Metropolitan University. Please be aware that local students will be allocated rooms nearer to the start of term or once term has started. Local students are those who living in the following Local Authority areas:
Cardiff
Newport
Torfaen
Merthyr Tydfil
Caerphilly
Vale of Glamorgan
Bridgend
Rhondda Cynon Taff
Important: We will not be able to allocate any student a hall of residence place without receipt of a completed online 'Halls Application' Form.
