GO Wales at Cardiff Metropolitan University 
Within Career Development Services you will find a GO Wales team who work together with other higher education institutions in Wales to provide the following services for graduates and students in the last two years of their course. 
GO Wales Placements
Paid placements of approximately 10 weeks, in the summer for students and all-year round for graduates.  Our GO Wales Advisers can help you to find the right opportunity and make effective use of the online applications system.  Just give them a call.
 
GO Wales Work Tasters
Opportunities for unpaid short work experience (typically up to two weeks' work, spread across a timescale to suit you and the employer).  This is a chance to try out different types of work and get experience to put on your CV.  GO Wales Advisers are happy to work with you to find the right experience for you. In most cases we can offer a contribution towards travel expenses.

GO Wales Graduate Development Fund
Subsidies of up to £1,500 are available to support graduates working in small to medium-sized enterprises in Wales who want to undertake further study or training to help them in their work.

Online database of graduate jobs in Wales.

GO Wales Graduate Academy
A free, full-time training programme that aims to provide recent graduates with the skills and support needed to obtain graduate employment.  Through a two week residential course and 4 week placement you will combine study for a recognised Leadership and Management qualification with work experience and personal jobseeking support. (Also available part-time.)

GO Wales Freelancers
A free one week training course designed to help entrepreneurial graduates to develop the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to advance their business idea.
