Applying online to UCAS
You can apply to UCAS independently or through Cardiff Metropolitan University. The UCAS website contains course information, details on how to apply and track your application.

Students on the Foundation Degree in Learning Support can also apply with the support of their tutors. Contact Susan Davis if you would like to apply this way.

Students on other courses should apply through Cardiff Metropolitan University Career Development Services if:

1.Your referee would prefer to send your reference confidentially rather than supplying to you directly. Careers staff will accept the reference, insert it and send the form off for you.
Or
2. You would like Careers staff to support you through the application process.

If you would like to apply through Cardiff Metropolitan University Career Development Services please follow this link for more information.

Applying Independently
You should apply independently if none of the circumstances listed above applies to you. You register online and are responsible for ensuring that the form is completed properly and that the reference is added before being submitted. If your referee is willing to give you an open reference, you can simply add it to the application form yourself. If not, you can pass on your login details to them and they can add the reference and send the form off for you. Please note, however, that this will give them full access to your application.
