About Us 

The Academic Registry, led by the Director of Student and Registry Services, is responsible for academic and student administration. It works closely with all academic schools and other administration and support departments. It comprises four operational areas, each headed by an Assistant Registrar.

Assessment and Awards is responsible for supporting the student examination and assessment process, exam boards and the degree and diploma awards ceremonies.

Enrolment and Schools Liaison is responsible for the enrolment and re-enrolment of students. It provides documentation confirming student status, determines fee status and, through its School Registry Officers based in each of Cardiff Met's five academic schools, is responsible for assignment collection and support of Schools’ student and assessment processes.

Management and Information Systems (MIS) is responsible for the student data at Cardiff Met; it has a key responsibility for government funding and statistical returns as well as being the lead user for our student information systems. It provides regular management information reports to staff, committees and governors.

Regulations and Research
takes lead responsibility for academic appeals, cases of unfair practice, University of Wales and Cardiff Met regulations, the Academic Handbook, examinations of research degree students and verification of results.
