Amie-Louise Prior teaches on all levels of the undergraduate programme and is a level 4 leader, personal tutor and MSc project supervisor. She is currently completing her PhD project entitled ‘Investigation into the optimum requirements and practical possibilities of a telephone helpline for people with anorexia nervosa’ and completed her MSc in Health Psychology at Cardiff Metropolitan University in 2010. Amie has also recently completed her Post graduate Certificate of Teaching in Higher Education (PgC THE) and is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Amie’s research interests focus on eating disorders, adolescent and young adult health and wellbeing and stress and wellbeing in the workplace. She is a member of the Eating Disorder Research Development Group funded by NISCHR and also volunteers as a self-help group facilitator for the eating disorder charity, B-eat.
