On-Site Complementary Therapy Clinic
Our students provide an on-site therapy service for staff at Cardiff Met. This has the dual effect of providing work experience for our students, and contributing to preventative health strategies for Cardiff Metropolitan staff.
Massage, aromatherapy and reflexology is offered throughout the teaching terms, and the clinic is open to the public in the evenings and out of term time.
The clinic will form part of the new Wales centre for occupational health and well being’ project which seeks to offer therapies and health measurement to corporate clients across Wales.
The Complementary Therapies Clinic at Cardiff Metropoiltan University is fully equipped to provide treatments in massage, reflexology and aromatherapy for up to 30 clients per evening.
There are fully equipped therapy rooms for the bodywork, with massage tables, portable massage chairs, and reflexology reclining chairs. The areas are divided into separate treatment cubicles for clinics open to members of the public. There is a variety of portable massage tables for hire by students for home use.
