Profile
Susan Davis joined UWIC as a Senior Lecturer in Early Childhood Studies in September 2004. Previously she taught in the field of Early Years Education in Nursery and Reception, before becoming a tutor on the CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education at Coleg Gwent Ebbw Vale. She also taught with the Open University on their Early Childhood Studies Degree programmes. She is currently the Programme Director for the Foundation Degree in Learning Support and teaches Early Childhood Studies on a number of programmes within the Cardiff School of Education.
Susan is also studying for a professional Doctorate in Education (EdD) looking at developing reflective practice with ITT PGCE students and how this knowledge can help them to support young children’s personal and social development and well-being in the Foundation Phase setting.
