Cheryl Anthony joined UWIC having been in primary education for thirteen years as both class teacher and Deputy Head Teacher.

She was initially seconded to UWIC as a Senior Lecturer in Mathematics for one year in 2004 and then became a permanent member of staff in 2005, lecturing in both primary Mathematics and Education. At the beginning of the 2005-2006 academic year she took up the position of PGCE Primary Programme
