Sustainability at Cardiff Met
Cardiff Metropolitan University recognises a wide definition of sustainability, based on engaging in development that meets the needs of the present, without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.

In support of this vision, the University's Board of Governors approved an Environment and Sustainability Policy, and receive regular reports to monitor and review progress against objectives.

In March the University was successful in its assessment for ISO14001 certification. The ISO14001 standard is desigend to deliver tangible cost savings, reduce environmental impact and enhance environmental credentials. this is clearly important to the University as it seeks to develop and grow its various 'business' streams.
