Week One Welcome
Every
new first year student joining us this September, is invited to attend a welcome address from Professor Chapman, Vice-Chancellor.
Monday 16th September 2013
at National Indoor Athletics Centre (NIAC), Cyncoed Campus
Event starts at 10.00am
Speakers will include the SU President and SU Sabbatical Officers and the warmest of welcomes from Professor Chapman, Vice-Chancellor.
Don’t get booked on your first day!
There will be no parking on Cyncoed Campus for the WOW event on the 16th September. Any cars parked on the roads around Cyncoed campus will be booked by the police.
Avoid getting a ticket and walk to Cyncoed if you live nearby
Unfortunately no transport is provided from the Howard Gardens and Llandaff Campuses but transport will be running from all allocated Halls. Full details will be shown in all Student Halls Reception areas.

Please Note
The Rider will not be running around the campuses until 14:30. The Met Rider service will then operate a double service from 14:30 onwards. The Met Rider is free until 5pm*. Students who are not in Cardiff Met allocated Halls are advised to make their own way to Cyncoed Campus for the WOW event. The easiest way is via the 52 and 52A Cardiff Bus Service that runs from Westgate Street. If you are bringing a car, please do not park outside Cyncoed Campus.
The 52 Cardiff Bus service (paid) will be running all day.
* The Met Rider bus stop for return journeys can be found outside centro.
