Course Content

The aims of this course are to provide students, associated with an Information Technology environment, with professional and academic enhancement and to respond to the needs of local employers.

The course develops students’ technical abilities in the field of information and communication technology within a business environment.

Career Potential

This course will enhance students’ knowledge and skills within the business information, communication and technology sector of industry. The qualification is well recognised and valued by industry and should widen students’ career prospects.

Entry Requirements

Applicants should have one of the following:

  • Four passes at GCSE (or CSE equivalent) including Mathematics, with one subject at A level.
  • An EDEXCEL National Diploma or Certificate (or equivalent).
  • Other applicants with relevant work experience will also be considered.

Attendance is usually two evenings per week over each semester.

Assessment for this course is by examinations and assignment work.
