Study Nutrition at Cardiff Met
Our programme in Public Health Nutrition is the only one in Wales to be accredited by the Association for Nutrition professional body. This means graduates are eligible for ‘direct entry’ to become Associate Nutritionists and after a few years of relevant employment can become full Registered Nutritionist.
Human Nutrition and Dietetics is professionally approved by the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and British Dietetic Association. The programme contains the academic component based on campus and clinical training, which occurs in three separate placements within the course. Graduates are eligible to apply to the HCPC for registration as a dietitian. Tuition Fees are fully paid by a NHS Bursary.
Watch our video to find out more about our two programmes, or come and see us at a Cardiff School of Health Sciences Open Day.
