European Projects are core to the Cardiff Met’s Internationalisation Strategy and come about as a result of successfully applying for European Commission funding. The International Development Team within the International Office are responsible for the application, management and coordination of the University's European and International Development projects which are varied in their objectives and in their geographical implementation. Such projects currently include Erasmus Mundus and Tempus.
To date Cardiff Met’s portfolio of projects has led to 100's of scholarship exchanges to and from Europe, increased research partnerships, signing of collaborative MoU's and many other benefits, whilst increasing the Cardiff Metropolitan University global brand.
Cardiff Met students and staff have been successful in gaining scholarships to study in Egypt, Lebanon and Jordan. Similarly, students and staff from Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria and Central Asia have been awarded scholarships to come to Europe, even to Cardiff Met, to further their educational careers.
Detailed information on the specific projects can be found by following the Erasmus Mundus and TEMPUS links on the left.
