Cardiff Met Entry Requirements

Students who have the following qualifications may be considered for direct entry onto relevant schemes at Cardiff Metropolitan University.

Foundation Courses 

The equivalent of 5 GCSEs (Grade C and above) to include Maths and English.
Undergraduate Courses

Students with good grades in their Sri Lankan General Certificate of Education (Advanced level).

OR Students with good grades in their Sri Lankan General Certificate of Education (Ordinary level)

AND who have completed a recognised Foundation Course.

OR Students who hold a Diploma in Social Work / Higher National Diploma (HND) / Advanced Diploma in Social Work.

Postgraduate Courses    

Students with a Bachelor degree from a recognised institution in Botswana or UK

OR Bachelor Special degree

OR Professional degree

OR Postgraduate Diploma

OR Master's degree




English Language Requirements
IELTS 4.5 (4.0 in each area) is required for Foundation
IELTS score of 6.0 (5.5 in each area) is required for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Courses
