Cardiff Met Entry Requirements


Students who have the following qualifications may be considered for direct entry onto relevant schemes at Cardiff Metropolitan University.


Foundation Courses The equivalent of 5 GCSE’s (Grade C and above) to include Maths and English
Undergraduate Courses Students with good grades in their University Matriculation Examination (Senior Secondary School Certificate / West African Senior School Certificate) AND who have completed a recognised Foundation Course

OR Students who have an Advanced National Technical Certificate (ANTC) / Advanced National Commercial Certificate (ANCC)

OR Students who have a (Ordinary) National Diploma (OND / ND), Post-Secondary Certificate, Medical-Related Diploma or Higher National Diploma　

Postgraduate Courses Students with a Bachelor degree from a recognised institution in Nigeria.

OR Students with a Bachelor degree from a recognised institution in the UK.

OR Students with a Masters degree from a recognised institution in Nigeria.




English Language Requirements
Good grades in English from High School (WAEC Grade C or above)
IELTS 4.5 (4.0 in each area) is required for Foundation
IELTS score of 6.0 (5.5 in each area) is required for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Courses
