Cardiff Met Entry Requirements

Students who have the following qualifications may be considered for direct entry onto relevant schemes at Cardiff Metropolitan University.

Foundation Courses The equivalent of 5 GCSE’s (Grade C and above) to include Maths and English
Undergraduate Courses Students with good grades in the West African School Certificate or Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination AND who have completed a recognised Foundation Course.

OR Students with good grades in the West African Higher School Certificate.

OR Students who have a Diploma (Undergraduate University Programme).

OR Students who have a Higher National Diploma.

OR Students who have a Certificate (Undergraduate University Programme)
Postgraduate Courses Students with a Bachelor degree from a recognised institution in Ghana.

OR Students with a Bachelor degree from a recognised institution in the UK.

OR Students with a Masters degree (1 Year and 2 Years in duration) or Postgraduate Diploma from a recognised institution in Ghana.




English Language Requirements
Good grades in English from High School (Grade C or above)
IELTS 4.5 (4.0 in each area) is required for Foundation
IELTS score of 6.0 (5.5 in each area) is required for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Courses
