Cardiff Metropolitan University shows its support of the business community as a sponsor of the IWA / Western Mail Business Awards.
Graduation at St David's Hall
Foundation, HNC/D, PGCE and MBA students celebrate their achievements at St David's Hall in the heart of Cardiff.
DECEMBER
Cardiff Metropolitan University Christmas Carol Service at Llandaff Cathedral
This festive annual event is held at Cardiff's Llandaff Cathedral and open to all. The service includes classic readings and carols and is followed by mince pies and mulled wine at Cardiff Metropolitan University's Llandaff Campus for all guests.
CBI Dinner
Cardiff Metropolitan University continues its association with the CBI by sponsoring their Annual Christmas Dinner.

Sporting Wales Rising Star Awards
PGCE Artists in Residence - 2013 Celebrates 25 Years
Venue: Cyncoed Campus
Every year in January artwork from PGCE Art & Design students is displayed at our Cyncoed Campus.
The artwork is the product of Cardiff Metropolitan University's Artists-in-Residence project, which involves PGCE: Art & Design students, who have a breadth of experience in such subject disciplines as fine art painting, sculpture, 3D design, ceramics, printmaking, graphic design, jewellery, fashion and textiles.

LSC Graduation at City Hall
This event celebrates the success of the unique partnership between the Cardiff Metropolitan University and the London School of Commerce (LSC) in the heart of Cardiff at City Hall. Students and their families from all over the world come to Cardiff for this special graduation ceremony every year.

Sporting Wales Rising Star Awards
UCAS Fair
Venue: NIAC, Cyncoed Campus.
The UCAS Higher Education Convention takes place at the National Indoor Athletics Centre (NIAC) at Cardiff Metropolitan University's Cyncoed campus.
The event, organised in conjunction with UCAS, Cardiff Met and Careers Wales, attracts more than 7,000 students and is designed for those who wish to seek advice from the 130 HE institutions exhibiting on the day, along with other organisations such as student finance advisors and gap year companies.

This annual event recognises and rewards the sporting achievements of all Cardiff Metropolitan University's elite sports men and women throughout the year.

CSAD Degree Show Lecture
Venue: Llandaff Campus
As part of the CSAD Summer Show events, an evening lecture takes place each year at Llandaff Campus with guest speakers from with the world of art and design.
First Campus Junior Games
Venue: NIAC, Cyncoed Campus.
Following weeks of careful training and preparation young athletes of the future get a taste of the Olympic Games when they come together to compete in a variety of gruelling athletic events.
Welsh Sports Hall of Fame
Cardiff Metropolitan University continues its sponsorship of this annual dinner where each year new names are added to the Inductees of the Welsh Sports Hall of Fame. Many past inductees attend the dinner and celebrate the successes of the year.
CBI Wales Annual Lunch
Cardiff Metropolitan University continues its association with the CBI at their annual luncheon and partakes in this great opportunity for corporate networking, as business leaders from across Wales get together.
Sporting Wales Rising Star Annual Awards Evening
The Sporting wales Rising Star Awards are chosen by Sport Wales, Cardiff Metropolitan University, Devere Village Hotel (Cardiff) and SportingWales Magazine. 12 Monthly winners are chosen through the year and the overall winner for the year receives the Bob Humphrys Memorial Award at this event.
JULY
Graduation at WMC
More than 3,000 students from Cardiff Metropolitan University's five academic schools, plus international students from the London School of Commerce, celebrate their academic achievements over the course of three days at the iconic Wales Millennium Centre (WMC) in Cardiff Bay.
Eisteddfod
The Eisteddfod is a travelling festival which belongs to the people of Wales – each year we aim to be involved and support the festival as it travels to various locations throughout Wales.
AUGUST
Clearing
Cardiff Metropolitan University offers a wide range of career focused courses and we'll do our very best to help find a course that meets both career aspirations and qualification results. Our dedicated 'Clearing Advice Line' can advise prospective students on the options available.
Clearing Open Day
The Clearing Open Day is intended for those students who are offered a place through Clearing, or who are looking to secure a place on a course for entry through Clearing.
Course representatives and Student ambassadors are on hand on the day and there is an opportunity to talk to our accommodation team, student services and admissions team.
