I graduated from the University of Wales Lampeter, with a 2:1 BA (Hons) degree in Archaeology and subsequently worked as a field archaeologist for 3 years. The job took me abroad, and on returning from Australia, I moved to Cardiff.  It was here that I began working with adults and young people in drug projects and hostels. Within this setting I was able to develop my interest in complementary therapies, becoming a manager in a busy complimentary therapy clinic.

As an Associate Lecturer at UWIC I am able to bring in my experience of academia and management at various levels, notably as a Personal Tutor; Seminar Facilitator for 'Management Theory and Practice' and ‘Academic Skills for Business’ undergraduates, and for MSc students.

My role further enables me to offer courses within the wider community as part of the Widening Access programme, helping to deliver Study Skills and Drug Awareness sessions to adults and young people.
