Barbara spent more than 20 years working in the banking and financial services sectors, during which time she undertook an MBA at Bristol Business School.   As a new venture, Barbara subsequently established her own Child Care business, which she ran for 4 years whilst successfully undertaking a Post Graduate Certificate in Education.  She went on to work with the University of Wales, Newport as a Business lecturer within the Work-based Learning team.

Barbara joined the Elevate Cymru programme in April 2012. She has a generic business focus and teaches in the following subject areas:

• Foundations of Marketing
• Mentoring & Coaching in Organisations
• Business In Context

Her specific focus is on Leadership, Management and Human Resource Management. Barbara is currently undertaking a Masters in Special Educational Needs (Specific Learning Difficulties).
