Howard Gardens Campus
Cardiff School of Art and Design students are based at the Howard Gardens campus where facilities include a cafeteria, library, a student shop, which sells artists' materials, and the Howard Gardens Gallery.

To reach Howard Gardens Campus from:
The East:
- Take Junction 29 off the M4 and travel westward on the A48(M).
- Turn off at the Llanederyn junction and take 1st exit towards city centre, stay in left hand lane.
- At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto A4161 (Newport Road).
- Continue on A4161 signposted city centre for approx. 1.8 miles, passing the Cardiff Royal Infirmary on the left, then take the 2nd left into Howard Place. This turning is before Mercure Holland House Hotel and Spa.
- At the end of Howard Place turn right.
- Howard Gardens campus is immediately on the left
The West:
- Take Junction 32 off the M4 and join the A470 towards the city centre.
- Follow signs for city centre onto Gabalfa overpass and continue on North Road to city centre.
- Stay in left hand lane and turn left onto Boulevard De Nantes, passing City Hall on your left.
- At next set of traffic light stay in the middle lane and continue onto Dumfries Place.
- Follow road staying in the middle lane through set of traffic lights and pass under railway bridge.
- Move to right hand lane and at next set of traffic lights turn right onto Fitzalan Road and move into left hand lane.
- Take the1st left before Cardiff Court.
- At traffic lights turn left.
- Take the 1st left onto Howard Gardens Road and follow the road to the left.
- Howard Gardens campus is immediately on the left.
